In this window renovation project, we’ll show you how an old water tower in Elsenborn, Belgium, is being transformed into an extraordinary 5-room hotel. The tower, which is about 25 meters high, is being completely renovated and will feature a restaurant at the top with a large glass facade—offering a unique view of the High Fens and the surrounding countryside. The work was anything but easy: During installation, our team had to climb up and down the tower’s five floors countless times. That certainly added up to more than enough steps every day! 💪 Today, the former water tower offers:

• 5 individually designed double rooms
• a restaurant with a panoramic view
• a breathtaking view of the High Fens’ natural landscape

A truly special project—from industrial building to a one-of-a-kind hotel.

Brever combined tradition with modern technology in the renovation of a listed theatre building. The aim was to preserve the historic character while meeting today’s safety and energy efficiency requirements.
Preserving the historic look: Old steel windows were replaced with new elements with glued-on glazing bars; in some cases, opaque sandwich panels were used.
Modern technology: Triple-glazed front windows with high insulation and classic appearance.
Special highlight: A large arched window (4×2 m) made of aluminium with satin-finished glass and glazing bars.
A successful example of combining heritage protection, aesthetics and innovation.

In this modern bungalow, floor-to-ceiling, minimalist frames blend seamlessly with the spacious terrace to form an elegant whole. The large glass fronts allow plenty of daylight into the interior, creating a bright, open feeling with a pleasant living environment. Thanks to the precise profile bonding by Brever – windows and more, custom-fit XXL glass panes with maximum stability and aesthetics can be realised. The result is an architecturally sophisticated solution that perfectly combines design and function.

In December 2024, we supervised the glass installation in Central Park – including our high-quality profile bonding. Thanks to close cooperation with Keller minimal windows, the project was successfully implemented internationally. The profiles were bonded at our premises in Luxembourg and delivered to the USA in perfect condition – installation was carried out by a local partner.

In the former water tower dating from 1961, we installed windows on the top floor of a spectacular conversion. The tower was extended by one floor and now offers more space and a better view. The installation was carried out using a crane, as it was impossible to transport the windows through the stairwell. Precision, teamwork and creative solutions made the project a complete success!
